Thermally Modified Timber Iroko Facade Cladding

Iroko is a rare and remarkable timber species originating from Africa. Timber species are generally classified into five main groups in terms of natural durability: non-durable, slightly durable, moderately durable, durable and very durable. Iroko takes its place among the very durable timbers. This special product, produced through a chemical-free thermal modification process using high temperature and water vapor between 180°C and 212°C, is what we call Thermally Modified Timber Iroko facade cladding. We manufacture Iroko facade cladding in many different profiles as tongue-and-groove boarding. We have numerous profile options within our own range. In line with project requirements, we can also produce custom profiles specifically for your project. It is fully suitable for exterior use and delivers successful performance across many different climatic conditions. Production is carried out in accordance with Design Coop norms and standards. Shaped through special, chemical-free processes, we transform Thermally Modified Timber Iroko facade cladding into unique and original products with a strong emphasis on aesthetic values. Thought through with meticulous attention to every detail, these facade claddings bring the beauty of nature into living spaces while promising trouble-free use for many years. Distinguished by its elegance and quality, Thermally Modified Timber Iroko facade cladding is an excellent choice to add a distinctive character to spaces. Reasons to Choose Thermally Modified Timber Iroko Facade Cladding: • The thermal modification process is carried out with high heat and water vapor, and therefore the product is completely natural. It contains no chemicals harmful to human health, and it is also an environmentally responsible and ecological product. • Thanks to its high durability, the product delivers reliable performance in all weather conditions. Its low water absorption rate supports long-term durability, and its distinctly longer service life compared to natural timber provides users with a trouble-free experience for many years. • The thermal modification process imparts a distinctive color to the timber. Color transitions create a homogeneous structure with close tonal variation, providing an aesthetic appearance. Application is extremely straightforward, and the surface’s ability to readily accept oils and similar products supports excellent results in color applications. This feature enables a surface treatment that meets aesthetic expectations while offering a practical user experience. • It is a material that provides insulation, offering an advantage depending on the area of use. • The reduced moisture content resulting from high-temperature treatment completely prevents rot, fungal growth and insect infestation. This feature increases the product’s durability while promising long-lasting and trouble-free use. • It is a stable material with minimized movement. Undesirable behaviors such as twisting, bending and warping are significantly reduced compared to natural timber species. For your questions or special requests, you can always reach us.
